Budgeting has never been easier. In a few simple clicks administrators are able to set up and trigger a budget process. They simply tell Financial Driver what information is to be collected and at what time – Financial Driver then takes over, controlling the complete process.
The end result is a budgeting system that is:
- Simple to use: Users are given a ‘To do’ list that guides them through the submission process. They can enter individual numbers or get the system to spread values across a range of cells, and once they are satisfied a single click is all they need to add comments and complete the process.
- Simple to control: Unlike spreadsheets, Financial Driver will automatically chase up those departments who have not submitted in time, and will post warnings for those controlling the process. Once users have finished their submissions, Financial Driver will lock them out of the data to prevent unauthorised changes.
- Simple to consolidate: At any time Financial Driver can perform a full multi-currency consolidation. Because the system keeps track of data submissions and when consolidations have been run, those reviewing results always know the status of what is being reported.
- Simple to save and compare versions. As the budget process evolves, Financial Driver allows controllers to save different passes of the budget along with comments. These are available for reporting and analysis, preserving the decisions made during the complete process.
